About this Collectable
In the mid-90s, the Mercedes-Benz SLK introduced a new concept within the roadster segment: a compact sports car with the comfort of a coupé. Thanks to the innovative Vario-Roof, the SLK combined the open-top driving pleasure of a convertible with the practical advantages of a fixed roof construction.
This example is a Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Special Edition (Final Edition) from 2004, finished in gray and equipped with the 2.0-liter engine with 161 hp. This Final Edition marks the end of the first generation of the SLK (R170) and is distinguished by its complete equipment and neat finish.
With its steel hardtop, the SLK offers year-round comfort, while open riding is possible at the touch of a button. The combination of compact dimensions, rear-wheel drive and solid Mercedes technology makes this SLK an accessible and versatile roadster with lasting appeal.
